Why I started this
Working hard wasn't enough.
I started buying property because I could see that no matter how hard I worked, no matter what we sacrificed, we weren't building toward anything that would outlast the next pay cycle. The lesson I kept coming back to was the obvious one — the only real way to get ahead was to own assets that earn while you sleep. I know how that sentence reads. Every property book on the shelf says it. But I've watched it work in my own life, and I've watched the absence of it bend other people's lives in ways that aren't fair.
What I really wanted, underneath all of it, was time. Time for my wife, time for our three young kids, time to live a life on our terms instead of someone else's roster. I know other Australians want the same thing. That's who I built Coppick Property Advisory for.
I'm REIQ-trained and operate as a licensed Queensland buyers agent under the Office of Fair Trading (Real Estate Licence 4961592). The licence is the credential — the structure I've built around it is the part that matters: independent, fee-only, no commissions from anyone but the buyer.
And I've sat on the buyer's side of the table myself. The framework I'd walk a client through isn't theoretical — it's the same one I apply to my own decisions.
